Happy New Year!!!
I'd just like to wish a happy new year to all my readers (if you do indeed exist), hopefully we'll be treated another exciting year of motor racing and in the case of F1, some more overtaking (it seemed that only Jensen was capable of this feat last year).
The Red Baron returns!
Yes, the 41 year old seven time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher will be driving for Mercedes this year. Whilst I'm sure the Fatherland is currently rejoicing, many motor sport fans will be divided on this surprise comeback. For more information, James Allen has written an excellent article on his site about his new engineer and team set-up here.
Twenty years gone
2010 marks the twentieth year of my interest in motor sport, thanks to my Dad, BBC Grand Prix programme and the fact that I had no other interests at the time (girls, music and beer would come later). Since then I've left school and encountered all types of things that life can throw at you, but I still love watching a fast car or bike. So in 'celebration' of this landmark, I'm going to have a look at F1, Bikes etc in 1990 and how things have changed over time.
But not today.
